NTT DoCoMo to Launch Info-Capture Phones

Japanese NTT DoCoMo recently announced it will introduce a new mobile phone in winter 2005 which will be able to obtain on-site store and product information by holding it in front of dedicated IC card readers installed at stores and restaurants. The new mobile phone function will be called ToruCa, while the handset on which it will be available will carry the name Osaifu-Keitai.
